This fantastic 3-night short break includes some unique adventure activities in some of Iceland's iconic natural landscapes.
Your adventure begins deep underground as you explore the lava caves of the Blue Mountains. Witness spectacular icicles in the winding underground tunnels and discover how Iceland was created and is still being shaped today. Continue your adventures at Þingvellir National Park where you will have the unique opportunity to snorkel between two tectonic plates in the Silfra fissure. An awe inspiring experience.
A second day of adventure takes you to the Sólheimajökull glacier with its amazing ice formations. Here you will navigate the elements of nature on an easy glacier hike with a chance to experience ice climbing along the way.
Perhaps the highlight of this short break is an exciting journey by super jeep in search of the northern lights. This incredible mode of transport allows you to navigate terrain that the regular tour buses cannot access, so as you escape the bright lights of the city nothing should stand in your way.
Before your time in Iceland comes to end, you may like to spend some time at one of Iceland's most famous tourist attractions, the Blue Lagoon. Here you can relax in the thermal milky waters before continuing on to the airport for your flight home.
So, what did you do this weekend?
Year round, but with the Northern Lights tours operational from September to early April.
