Hotel Ranga

Taking its name from the East Ranga River, whose banks it resides on, Hotel Ranga is situated in the south of the country in a relatively quiet and under explored area. Many guests are attracted by the abundant fishing, for others the scenic walks, horse riding and sightseeing are the main appeal. However, during the winter months the hotel's excellent rural location provides perfect viewing opportunities of the spectacle that is the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights.

The 44 rooms are a mixture of superior and deluxe, all with great views, some with balconies and Jacuzzis and many other modern features. The 7 individually designed suites are themed on the continents of the world and provide comfort and luxury, each in a difference ambiance.

The glass sided dining room caters for all tastes with a modern Nordic inspired menu making use of the local ingredients and plentiful seafood such as scallops and lobster. A number of hot tubs are located outdoors a little way from the rooms and make a delightful end to the day.
