One huge continent sized island nation in Australia with immense natural diversity and two more manageable islands in New Zealand for bespoke holidays. Although of course, there are numerous other islands that offer incredibly rich wildlife that are associated with both countries; Tasmania and Kangaroo Island are prime examples within Australia and Stewart Island and the sub-Antarctic islands of New Zealand are obvious additions.

With large distances often involved Australia is likely to take more than one visit to fully appreciate its natural diversity during the best season for any particular region. Some areas readily combine for bespoke holidays, Tasmania and South Australia being a prime example, or perhaps Queensland and the Top End of the Northern Territories another, whilst west coast around Broome and Exmouth, Ningaloo Reef is more isolated.

Lying so far south and away from any large land mass, New Zealand offers unique bird life, is superb for seeing cetaceans, has spectacular scenery and easy travelling; with a good dosing of fine wineries for good measure!
