Uga Chena Huts

A unique five star high class lodge set among 3 hectares or so of coastal bush and sand dunes a short distance outside of the southern entrance to Block 1 of Yala National Park, you know this is really something difference when you arrive at reception!

Calm and confident elegance with 14 unique ‘cabins’, each with a 5m long plunge pool on the deck. The huge, thatched dome of each cabin creates a wonderful space in the room. There are touches of rustic, safari, wooden headboards and decked pathways to free standing baths; but overall, the feeling is of spacious opulence and beyond the windows is the dry bush that adds to the seclusion of each cabin. Indeed, pathways meander between the cabins, the large swimming pool and the spa.

Dining can either be in the main dining area, at your cabin or more romantically, on the beach.  Attentive service as is to be expected and Uga Chena Huts has knowledgeable naturalists on site that can arrange personal safaris. This is a terrific option for the nature lover who likes to travel in style and furthermore, they an accommodate families. Uga Chena Huts is not a place to just grab a few nights for a safari, stay an extra night or two and enjoy the lodge, beach and your cabin.
